So i was stanidng next to the christmas tree knowing i hadnt put water in it....then looked at my tank 3 inches away then at my kitchen 10ft away and i thought... i wonder if anyone has ever put tank water on their live trees? it works on my plants outside...they love it. so has anyone tried this or does this? maybe the pine needles will stay on better...dont remmber myth busters trying fish tank water.

I would imagine that it would work pretty well. I always water my indoor plants with water from my one aquarium, and they do well; it worked fine on the little pine tree that I used to have indoors.

The tree is already dead, not sure but confident that you can't kill it again.
