Fish tanks VS Reptile tanks

Is there a difference between a glass tank made for reptiles vs. fish?

reptile tanks dont have the brace in the middle on top of the tank to help hold the water pressure..

retile tanks use thinner glass... they often lack the additional bracing...

Reptile tanks are "water tight" but are not structurally designed to be filled completely with water...
