Does anyone else have fish that seem to give natural false positives for disease? Here are a couple examples on fish that I have.
Silver dollars- their scales on the top of them always look like they have Ich at certain angles.
Clown loaches- they start getting color or pattern changes that might look like a disease spot.. from a new dark patch appearing on their side that will gradually become a strip or spot.. to a white spot on their back that eventually becomes a white band that really looks like saddle disease for the first year it has this.

Chromatic rainbow fish- this is what they were sold as.. but doesn’t seem to be their real name and I have never seen them for sale on any online fish store… but they’re pinkish red rainbow fish, on the small side.. only get about half the size of an Australian or Boesmani rainbow… anyhow.. they look like they have some sort of gill problem because you can see a red crescent protruding from the gill cover. But they all were like this for the 2 years that I have had them so its just something specific to this species.
