Fish that really busts tanks??

I have heard of stories of monster fish breaking aquariums and have even experienced epic fights and fish running full speed into glass.

But does anybody have had first hand experience of fish breaking through the glass or cracking it? Not counting the glass canopy of course.

Used to have a Albino Giant Gourami, cracked the side of my 4ft tank & died because no one was around when all the water spilled out.

Damn! Didnt know gouramis had that kind of power. Maybe the tank was faulty already??

never kept them, will keep them hopefully soon!

when you say fiber you mean acrylic ??

I can believe the aramapia! LoL!! I think any of the large cats could easily do it. Pbass, Viejas, the larger Guatopes, Umbies, it all depends on the tank size though. If you keep a monster in a 55gal...ur gonna have broken glass. With larger tank size comes thicker glass...thus harder to break...

damn that is power! Isn't acrylic.. I can't remember.. 10x 25x or so stronger than glass?
