I have several big tanks with only two fish in them and it gets a little annoying I have an open 120 and was wondering if there is anythin out there you guys can reccoemmt that will breed in a group or not get super aggressive and kill off tank mates ? Any idea

Thorichthys do best kept in groups, they will breed and not be too aggressive.
I have had 4 pairs all with fry no more than a few inches apart in the same tank.

I'm assuming you're not looking for a schooling fish, cause any live bearers would fit the bill. What other tank mates would help, a 1m/2f trio of convicts, or another fish in that genus should do fine. They breed readily while being able to hold their own against a bigger fish.

Cichlids are gonna be more aggressive at breeding time. Just how it goes.

Also, a group of Africans will tear up anything else in the tank, unless it's a monster

Yellow lab's lake Malawi mbuna, African cichild.
Are pretty peaceful, and can have fry several times a year.
They are probably the most docile 4" cichild in africa.

I have had Jack Dempseys breed in harems , the females just seem to take turns laying clutches. Most Haps and Mbuna also. A single male Jaguar will also not have a problem w/ a 2nd or 3rd female considering she's been accepted into the group before a pair-bond forms

Agree with Frank on this.I have done it with green terrors. You get the odd scuffle but if there is enough tank space it can work with lots of species.Space and shelter is key.
I had a large extended family of neolamprologus brichardi once, each generation guarding the rest.It was a very interesting tank.
I do have a love for thorichthys though and they are great to watch when multiple pairs form.
Lots of displaying to each other but little harm done in the process.

Trophius species, duboisi, bemba or moorii are awesome, a group of plus 10 can be a sight.
