So I think everyone has fish that they have in their tank that you only get to actually see every now and then. They seem to disappear for days/weeks/ even months on end, and then show up again at random, and then go hide again. For me, it's my Krib. I hate the guy. I've had him for about 4 months, and I think I've seen him a total of maybe 10 times. 8 of those times were watching him gnaw on a new school of Neon tetras... hence the reason for the hatred. So, how about you guys? What's your "houdini fish"?

I avoid these type of fish if possible. So far my endi bichir hide all day until it's dinner time. I hate fish that do not move around in a tank.
Probably my female BN plec. The other males act like they arent nocturnal, however my female stays hidden untill night (5-11pm), even though the tank has lights on.
my L052 hides most of the time, but comes out at feeding time. my BGK also hides a lot, but I find now that I've ramped down the power feeding schedule he comes out a LOT more (foraging I presume)
I 'lost' one of my clown loaches for almost a month. I even went so far as to remove everything from the tank and still no loach. I assumed he'd died and 'squeegee' the pleco had eaten the carcass, but sure enough one day he showed up. He must have swum down under the RUGF piping or something.
