My rhom has thrown up his food the last three times I fed him. Every time he does this the entire stinks horribly. I normal catch on within a couple hours but it doesn't help. Is this typical to have such a bad smell? I ask because I've struggled with this tank smelling in general. Finally have gotten rid of tank smells but it seems to only come back when he throws up.
The food thrown up is shrimp. He has stopped taking tilapia, scallops, and pellets. I thought I was giving him too large of pieces but reducing the size hasn't helped. He is 10in and the amount of food is much smaller than what he used to it. He's also only fed once a week.
