fish to add in a 100 gallon tank

I have another 100 gallon tank that i want to set up (freshwater). I wanted colorful fish but also different fish that you normally wouldn't find in a tank that are legal. I really like the ebjd. I was thinking of getting one of those for sure. Any other ideas?

Jack dempseys are pretty common, discus would be cool, very colourful an don't seem to common, or earth eaters.

If you want a colorful active tank it's hard to not look into an African cichlid tank.
