I have 16 years experience for keeping fish. Currently keeping bichirs (Yes.very hardy fish type)
So i decide to testing my self..Can you guyz list down the fresh water fish types for experienced aquarist .

If you are looking for a more difficult fish to keep alive, apistogramma dwarf SA cichlids can be quite fragile in my experience and require low pH. Discus are also notoriously fragile.
Saltwater in general is more work and lots more room for error. If you want a real challenge I would try SW.

I would say discus are hard to keep, datnoids are for more experienced keeper to try and keep them stable but saltwater is really the challange and is for experienced fish keepers

Thank you very much. I'll add discus and datanoids for my list.8 years ago i kept discus and i failed. bcoz of my lack of knowledge..

How about freshwater stingrays (hystrix) orAfrican tiger fish. Both can be challenging to keep and can die a lot
String rays and african tiger fish..yes both are my favorites. specially vittatus...:):)
I'll add them to my list.
