Hi Monster Fish Keepers!
I am a fish veterinarian out of Denver. Most of my patients are koi, but I also treat everything from plecos to cichlids and few types in between. I am new to the monster fish community, but thought this might be a good place to see if anyone has any experience with illness in an Asian Arrowanna. I am a member of the World Aquatic Veterinary Association, among other things, so I have some other resources, just thought I might see if anyone has any words of experience working with this species.
The fishes tank and water quality seem to be good, but it has developed what seems to be pockets of infection under the operculum, and is no longer eating well, though otherwise behaving normally.
Any thoughts or experience with this species would be appreciated, and certainly if I can be of service to the community let me know, thank you.
Best wishes for your fishes!
