i was looking at my tiger oscar today and it seems that he has a small case of HITH. i know its my fault because i have been feeding him a lot of mealworms until i could buy a more variety of foods. he eats krill, earthworms, an occasional cricket, and just recently he has decided that he doesn't like pellets anymore. i read on an info page that u can add multi vitamins to the food to give him all the nutrients he needs. any ideas on how to do this?:screwy:

Soak food in the vitamin supplement. I would only offer pellets until eats those again. Hunger will revive the memory.

Yeah...Make him get back on pellets, and up those water changes.

What type of pellet are you using? Maybe try a different brand.

you can soak the pellets in Vita-Chem. You can also soak them in Garlic Guard. Garlic stimulates their appetite and is good for their immune system as well.

I aggree that you should jog his memory that pellets are yummy by not feeding him for a few days and keep trying the pellets until he takes them.
