Was doing a water change a few days ago and some water splashed into my left eye.

Was fine, but about 2 days ago my eye started twitching and becoming spastic.

Now it twitches and spases out every 20-30 minutes for around 10 minutes at a time.

No eye drops at home, and no money for a doc app. to get some perscripion eye drops.

Has this happend to anyone else, if so how did you fix the twitching problems? Normally wouldnt be worried, but after seeing that story bout the flesh eating bacterias, kinda paranoid.. dont wanna lose my eyes, no?

Oh Lordy, sorry dude, Ive had water in my eyes, and even in my mouth while siphoning frys. Perhaps its protozoans or parasites causing the nerves to twitch. Maybe its your little allergic reaction, IDK. Go to 99 cents store, they have eye drops.

Lol call mom, im a poor college kid living at home. Thats what really sucks. Anyway, im going to the store ina few, ill check theyre eye drops.. Would be wonderful if they somehow had some specialy for fish water in eyes.

Luckily ive never experienced the water in the mouth thing. Have had pond/lake water splashed into my mouth from fishin a few times, nothing too bad lol.

How are you a poor college kid, while living at home?

I'm thinking bacterial infection. You should eye drops or medication soon before it gets worse. :nilly:

Pick up some polysproren eye drops it has antbiotics in it and its over the counter at the drug store. Hope this helps.

lol, no money for a house of my own, it all goes to fish.. im also in college, therefore, im a poor college kid living at home (with my parents). Picked up some eye drops, i'll see if they work..

Finger crossed for ya.
