Fish with convict

I have a female convict (3") in a 20 gallon aquarium, I had a male convict with her but he leaped and died, and I don't really want another one. Question is, what fish could I buy to go with the convict in such a small tank? Are there any aside from plecos and catfish? I was considering something African but from my experience they're all jerks, so any enlightenment on that would be appreciated.

No to the Africans. Convicts like to harass other fish in the tank, so it would have to be hardy and small. Could try some sort of medium sized quick tetra?

Maybe. All she really does in nip fins.. Maybe a danio or something, they're quick

You could do a few giant danios and Cories. A 20 gallon isn't much room to play with
