The reason why they made the show was to educate people about Invasive species.

I , for one am not going to sit here and say that Snakeheads are EVIL FISH!

They are beautiful in their own kind of way, the problem with Snakeheads is not the Snakeheads but the stupid owners of the Snakeheads that think its funny to put them in local rivers and ponds when they cant keep up with their pets anymore.

Unfortunetely, the Snakehead population has grown in the U.S and now they threaten the survival of the Native Species in our local waters.

I love my Native fish! Largemouth Bass and Channel Cats etc. and I think it would be horrible for them to go extinct because of some idiots bright idea of releasing invasive species into local waters.

Its almost as stupid as me releasing giant alligators and crocadiles into Asian waters and completely destroying the Snakehead populations back in Asia.... (You get what Im saying)

By all means Snakeheads are kool fish, but not in local waters!

um...just as a passing fact....there are Crocodilians in Asia.....including a Chinese Alligator...and Croc's are just a few water-holes away from wherever you are in most parts of SE Asia...

yeah thats true! let us not mislead ourselves

Im sure he is referring to Invasive species.

and large mouth bass, and channel cats are introduced species in many parts of the u.s. and are being bred for food worldwide, there is no chance of them being extinct.

thus far, they've not been able to assess any damages caused directly by the so called snakehead invasion. channas actually are not very "invasive" as they're portrayed, not much different than the amia calva which are native to the U.S.

again, of course i'm not advocating them release of these fish.

I just noticed at the beggining they put added the scene from youtube when the snakehead ate the goldfish which is pretty cool seeing as they used youtube videos for a show i don't have snakeheads and never owned one myself but my dad likes em and i might get one someday ;)
