I have a male and female pair
the female always hides during the day. the male takes naps in the open and patrols the tank like a shark.
they love crickets and worms and will eat anything that fits in their mouth. my male will grab crickets from the surface and then eat them in chunks.
At night they cruise together. but they never share a hide.
They like the water to be about 78f
and are more active after water changes and 500gph flow doesn't bother them. pretty strong swimmers.
