Anyone in here have fished at Salton Sea? Im curious if the fish still alive at the Salton Sea? I never fishing at Salton Sea before but thinking about it in future IF the fish are still alive.

I wanted to let you know that fishing in the Salton Sea is hot. Although we have had increasing salinity, the tilapia are thriving. No one has seen corvina for some time, although recently my husband had a glimpse of an approximately 5 pound fish which is considerably larger than any tilapia. Anglers at the Salton Sea State Park have often taken 20-40 fish in a day. Come on down and enjoy!
About 10 years ago I took two of my kids fishing there, we had a guide and trolled.
We caught 2-3 corvinas each up to 6 lbs. The kids had a great time. Our guide was very good, if I can find his card I will post his name.
I wish I could have caught some tilapia or sargo though.
