Fishing for ideas

One on my favorite 125s is a planted tank with a ton of smaller schooling fish, shrimp, snails, and freshwater clams. There's always something going on every where you look.

Well what are you looking for, I love catfish so I have cats in my 125. You could do some bichirs, lots different cichlid possibilities, silver dollars, or any number of oddballs. Others have a lot more experience with then me with a lot of these fish so hopefully they chime in

Currently doing 2 SA tanks but if I had a third and it's 125 gal I would probably give africans a chance. Have had problems with africans (aggression) in past but this time I would study up!
That or a discus tank, but discus can be a lot of work.

I love SA and it's what I really want but I have a flowerhorn and afraid to attempt to put anything with it. I know people do but I'm leary.
