anyone ever give it a try off the piers? maybe during the striper run?

I have not done it personally, but i have heard people worm for bass in the spring there as well as use lures. If you do fish from a pier make sure you have the proper equipment to land a fish. A light rod isnt going to work well when you try to lift the fish, and a gaff will probably kill them if you plan on releasing them.
