Hey Everyone,
Im going to Honduras for a week in the end of October. While Im going for a wedding, I do plan to do some fishing as well as visit some LFS. I know fish will be uber cheap and would like to come back with some Central American Cichlids... What fish are there in Honduras?? I know they have a bit of Central American's but Im not that familiar with them....I plan on dedicating 2-3 days to fishing (im already preparing the wife....lol). Any recommendations?? loactions?? fish to go for??? all info would be appreciated, hence my starting this topic so ahead of time....

DOVII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not to mention, jaguars and other parachromis

i'd love to take a trip down there to do parachromis fishing, take LOTS of pics for me. i'm sorta what you would call a parachromis freak.

Very cool...Jags dont get me too excited, but thats because I live in Miami and they are here also....lol. Would be nice to bring back some true wild blood though...what else...Dovii, Parachromis sp. Pics???

Oh! does anyone know of collectors down there i can hook up with??

other parachromis, just includes some smaller speices, red tiger mota's, loiselli, and freddies, all from 11-14". they'd be fun to get also. If you are cosidering bringing back anything you catch you may want to talk to a collector like jeff rapps about how he does it. i think it may complicated to airplane ship 20"+ dovii and etc.

Yeah I can Imagine...Hmm red Tiger Mota's sound good...Im trying to get ahold of a few collectors now....
