Fishing license?

I'm doing research on what I need to obtain a fishing license. I know I need a resident license but do I get a inland license or all water license? I want it just to fish some local rivers.

not too sure how it works in your state, but all you need to do here is buy the license to fish freshwater.
To fish saltwater as well, you'll need to get the saltwater stamp for a small fee.
Here you need a 2nd rod stamp to fish a second rod as well.

From what it says all I need to go city hall or another place and just pay for it. But I'm confused on witch to get since I will only really be using it for freshwater

Here ya go David. You can just get the inland one and you can buy it online. I didn't buy one this year since I'll be one armed for a while

Thanks sandy. Do you have to renew it every year? Lol maybe you should try it with a simple hallow bamboo stick with a line run thru it.
