Howdy,

I was offering food to my pirayas (2.5''') on a fishing line - to be able to remove leftovers. Well, they bit thru the line. LOL.

I just hope the guy who did it didn't swallow a piece of plastic! Anyone ever had that happen???

Sorry, no pics, yet. They're still swimming in the dark tank for acclimatization.

you should use steel leader at the end of the line.

So what did you end up stocking with harley?

I would think a small piece of line would just pass, even if it was swallowed.

I went with 6 juvenile (2.5'') Pygo. pirayas for my 220 gal and moved everyone else into the 75 gal. I assume I'll lose 2-3 by cannibalism, which is why I got half a dozen. The discussion threads were really helpful! Next week's project is to install a drip system to eliminate manual water changes.

Actually, you can find it in Articles. Neo posted two different ways to do it. Best way is to get an in-line dosing device for water conditioner.
