So for fathers day, My Dad and I went fishing for yellow tail tuna off the coast of tijuana. Unfortunetly, we only caught one, but ended up catching a whole lot of barracuda and sand bass.

P.S.. Since it was a commercial charter boat, they tagged numbers on the fish to make sure you got your own fish at the end of the day

Awesome catch. What you going to do with the barracuda?

why keep the cudas?

At first i didn't want to keep them, but my uncle said he knew a good recipe.

We actually gave a majority away to friends and family, and the rest was cooked up and eaten that very night.

Nice fish! You might want to read up on ciguatera poisoning. Those larger barracudas may carry it. Just a heads up :)

:screwy: seriously, you can get deathly ill

HOW MUCH WAS YOUR FISHING TRIP.... PER PERSON, OR GROUP....:naughty: :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

OHH YAA GREAT JOB I LOVE FISHING....

Maybe that is only around Florida only with the great baracuda species, but I was thinking the same thing:WHOA:

Thanks matthew for the heads up. I called all my buddies to see if they felt any symptoms after eating any of the fish we caught. Fortunetly no seems to be having any ill feelings. But will think twice on keeping certain fish on the next trip

The trip was roughly $70 per person, that is also including the bait and license.
