Next 2 weeks we will be in Uruguay collecting tropicals and plan to spend a day sport fishing for giant dorado. I'll post pics when we get back. Ken
Fishing on Rio Uruguay

Here are some pics from fishing on the Rio Uruguay.
Fishing was a little slow but a couple of us were lucky enough to catch Dorado. We were fishing in water with quite a bit of current in front of a hydro-electric plant.
1) The boats, gear, and Rio Uruguay. We're in Salto, UR. The far shore is Argentina.

4) and 5) Second dorado of the day - a real beauty!

7) Some - we'll assume - Argentinian guy fishing in nothing but a turquoise speedo and a hat.
