Ok the title says it. My dad works for the city and before he has told me on the inspections he usually sees bullheads and creek chubs. What I plan on doing is using 2 ice fishing poles and fish through the manhole (its the grated kind) using crawlers to see what I can get. the entire creek us under ground and I will be fishing from a slab of concrete. Has anyone here ever heard of someone doing this? I'm just bored so tonight I'm going to try this

can u get the fish out thru the manhole cover? Or are u removing the cover? Good luck keep us updated
i used to catch bream in the drainage area on the side of the road when i was like 5, people would ask me jokingly as they drove by if i was catching anything and id pull out a little sunfish or mud bass and they always looked like their brain just exploded lolol
Well I wasn't able to go and mom said I cant for a long time so I think I'm going to set a throwline and see if I can get anything, I'm going to have 5 hooks baited with worm and see how that goes. I will take pics of the area tomorrow.
