Fishn in the rain....

Mike and I decided to hit the pond since there was nothing else to do even thou it was raining. I landed 2 nice cats right off the bat and some bullheads and then caught a small mirror. I had a rather large fish on but after fighting him for about 20 minutes the hook fell out.

Other than the rain and wind, it was nice out. Caught a nice moth as well. Mike managed to catch a snapper right at the end.

It's been raining a lot here...last weekend I did great flyfishing for crappie during the rain!

When it rains try to find creeks that flow into the main lake catfish will crowd the creek mouths looking for food.

Some snapper . Those mirror carps you have been catching are unusual looking. Some look as pretty as ornamental pond fish.

They are only found in your state?

I have never seen anyone here post pics of them.

nah mirror carps can be found in any states as long as there are common carp (mirror and common carp are same species).
