I decided to start keeping the not so rare fish that got me hooked on the hobby. I’m not good with pics so here’s a few vids of what I’m keeping.
Trichromis salvini in pre-spawn dance. He’s been rough with her but once the fry get here, the roles reverse.
Update on the rescue Amatitlania nigrofasciatus. Some of his fry can be seen swimming around. He has a few issues with his swim bladder but he seems to be happy.
Big male Rocio octofasciatus. Hides all day. You can see a little female in there that I hoped would get the male to not be so shy.
Forgive me for that motor. I have a filter that I can’t figure out how to quiet. It’s probably on its last legs.
