Fishtanksdirect.com Stands/Canopies

Has anybody ever purchased stands and/or canopies from fishtanksdirect.com? They have some decent prices and free shipping. I am looking at one that would be 72x24.

Any other online retailers that anybody suggests?

What wood should I go with? I think oak is the obvious answer.

What is the decor of the room in which the tank/stand will be located? I love oak furniture so I would go w that as a default but it might not match the room.

Probably something of a darker color as the TV stand is black. That website has different finishes to select from, but I was mostly concerned about the stability and strength of the stand with the wood specie.

Any experience with that website? The prices of the stands are very cheap.
