fitting air hose through tank connector

hi guys. was wondering if anyone knows how i could get an air line in the tank without passing it over the top, ie, by drilling the sides of the tank and using some sort of tank connector fitting. i want to give it a cleaner look, without much equipment showing.

drill the tank above the waterline? add a little sillicone if you want.

if you want the "clean" look then go for a sump.

here we go... with proper filtration and return system air pumpe really are suplus to requirement

im a fan of fluidized bed sumps. they ae IMHO without a doubt the best (freshwater (i know nothing of marine) ? sump design. proof is in the purity. if its good enough for our water refinement...then its good enough for fish!
