Does anyone know where I can buy a 1/2inx72inx24in piece of glass to fix an aquarium in US Georgia. I bought this massive tank for cheap but need to replace a full pane! I'm hoping I didn't just make a HUGE mistake. I'm new. Please if anyone can give me some advice that would be great! Little panicky right now!

Welcome to MFK ! I can't help you but there are members here that have lots of knowledge, and experience with your project. :)

Well, hopefully someone can help me because I'm sinking money and don't even have that much to sink. I didn't buy the tank planning on setting it up now but I would like to set up soon. It doesn't look like it will ever be set up though.

Lea just hang in there for advise on this forum, members will honestly let you know if it will or will not be expensive to repair.

I hope it won't be bad. I know glass is expensive but I have re siliconed a whole tank and it has been great since. I just don't have a clue where to get that big of a piece of glass from

That's great you have experience in resealing a aquarium most people toss them out for someone like me to pickup lol. Hopefully the glass will be reasonable, and shipping won't be pricey.

I sure hope it won't be too bad. I am hoping if I can't manage it someone will buy it as a reptile tank so I can start trying to get another aquarium that I can actually use. I mean it is huge I just can't use it for my fish.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I would be excited to see your next thread titled what do think with fish swimming happily. :)

Lol that would be awesome! I hope someone can help me out. I found a website called Glasscages.com and they do glass but I am not sure how much shipping and the glass will be. Hopefully not as much as I paid for the aquarium.

I am working on a plywood tank right now and the glass is a bit away at the moment as money is tight for me as well. I have found several places, dullesglassandmirror.com, and the glasscages.com. dulles is more expensive for the glass by double, but shipping is little to nothing, and the glass will weigh almost 150 lbs. Glasscages, the glass is $100 but havent called about shipping charges yet. Have you tried any local glass companies yet? Be interesting to know how much shipping is on glass.
