Hey have any of you guys encountered a way of healing or fixing a bent shovelnose on a shovelnose cat?
In my 120 4x2 i have 2 shovelnose cats, one that is almost 12 inches and one that is 8-10. The one one cat, while i was alway at school, must have spooked and hit the wall as his shovelnose is not bent upwards. This really saddens me as it was a perfect specimen and they were doing very well in the tank.
Is there anything i can do to help cure or fix his shovelnose? or would moving to a larger tank be the only solution to minimize more damage?
thanks let me know

I've never heard of anyone trying to fix a broken fish snout. It's a broken bone or cartilage. Short of reconstructive surgery, nothing can be done, I think. And fish don't wear an after-surgery cast well :) These are the reasons people don't do it. Even if there was a vet who could do it, it would cost you the price of a thousand of lima shovelnoses.
