Hello all, I'm slow this week apparently. Just realized I should ask you guys and the pond forums with help on this.

I have a man made waterfall, made out of.....IDK, some kind of concrete or something. Hollow on the inside.

It started to chip last year, but chipping a ton this year.

Anyone know what I can use to fully coat and prevent the rest from chipping?
Clear or rock looking would be best, but if I have to slather it in thick black rubber-like coating, then so be it.

Any help?
Thanks!

Well they said the two things I was going to say. The clear pond armor will make it shiny. If you coat it in anything else you could then paint it. You could also use that basement water proofer ive heard it's pretty tough.

The chipping is because your plaster layer didn't adhere correctly.

I would remove all the loose stuff, pressure wash it, let dry, apply a concrete binder to the old concrete, then go over it again with another (thicker) topcoat.

I personally also like to add something like chopped fiberglass to reinforce the top coat and limit this happening.
