fixing free floating algae (green water)

I recently managed to deal with a pretty bad algae bloom without using any chemicals.. I realised that's what brine shrimp eat... ha ha ha....

I've never had a green water or green algae problem but have had a brown alage problem, took forever to clear up...

Ha yes. Gottah love shrimp.

Too bad brine shrimp wouldn't last long in my tank... i personally found adding Purigen and / or a UV Sterilizer helps heaps... in fact i need to get myself more purigen...

Funny how I say that and it happens. Was gone for about a week & my water has a greenish tint to it from all the algae. Otto cats seem to love it though ha.
