I already have a thread about this going on the native forum but though some people on here might be intrested too. About a month ago i got this 200g acryllic tank with a stand and the lights which will be dropped off soon. That all cost me $50 from a friends uncle, as u can see it needs a lot of work.

First Off we spent a couple days buffing out scratches, but there are still some that are not out yet.

Right now my focus is on painting the stand, today i finished the first layer of black and am gonna make the doors red. Here is the first layer.

I am going to do a lot of work on it this week so i'll be updating this thread often.

lookin good

I finished painting the top red and did the final coat of black paint now all thats left is the doors. And a big thanks to DeepBlueSea who sat on his ass listening to music and did nothing as i worked my ass off lol.

Nice man Im on the same boat as you on my 240 are you planing on using any substrate or plane bottom so the red top on the stand can shine through I would really like to see it filled with water if you were goin with the plane bottom idea

Today i made a lot of progress. I finished painting the doors i have, there is one missing so i need to get another piece cut, so there are two on there right now. I also picked up 200lbs of play sand from home depot which was pretty cheap at only 20 bucks and we got it filled up. There are still some scraths on the outside of the tank i need to buff out.
