Tube lights are sized in 1/8" increments. That is to say the bulb diameter for a Tn bulb = n (1/8)". For example a T5 bulb is 5/8" diameter, a T8 bulb 1" diameter, a T12 bulb 1.5" in diameter...you get the picture.

High Ouput lamps (HO) are recognizable by the ends. The electrodes are protected by a phenolic plastic guard or a glass bushing due to the much higher firing voltage; in excess of 3 kVolts.

I would sugest your first choice. Its' better suited for growing plants. The second apears to be more for reef aplications and the third for showing off fish colours. If you have a two lamp fixture you might consider using choice 1 and 3 with the power glow at the front of the tank to max your fish colours...

The plant light produces light spectra that the chlorophyl in the plants needs to create simple sugars that are the building blocks of plant material. The power glo produces a wider range of spectra that will show off the fishes colours. If you place the power glo in the front of the fixture, the light will reflect off the fish as they swim across the front of the tank, showing off their colours to the max.

If you prefer to max your plant growth, you should use the gro light. It doesnt hurt to change up the lamps once in a while. I do that with my display tanks ju st to get a differant look occaisionaly.
