It's official. FL has officially banned lion fish importation into the state. It's effective August 1st, 2014. All lion fish sold will have to come from local waters, which means they will be limited to Volitan Lions from here on out.
I'm pretty happy about it. It's painfully clear what they have done to the reefs here.
