Compatibility of these? 10 and 8in turtles. Would b adult pumpkinseed and bluegill. Worried the gar will eat everyone. Turtles don't really bother anything above 8in. So. Whats the likelihood of the gar not eating everyone Is this a feasible native tank?
I wouldnt mix RES with a gar, it'll get shredded much to slow.
I recommend against keeping RES turtles with any fish, I've kept them for the last 2 decades and they are quite predatory they may tolerate larger fish if they move quick enough for a while but only until one gets a mouth full and then they'll realize big fish can be broken int small delicious bites and over night they'll shred your fish apart.
Is this a feasible native tank?
