FL LFS or FishFarms?

soo ..... im going to visit Disney world here in a couple of weeks ..... but im also planning on visiting a few LFS and try to go to Segrest Farms if they let me in to hang out pick out a few oddballers and ship them back to my local fish store! or my own shop!
what i neeed from u guys is a cool store or farm within an hour of DisneyWorld ....... anyone know of any worth going to or A MUST to visit?
 
Good luck getting into Segrest...

I registered as a distributor for them and I cleared far enough to order from them, but when I traveled through the area they said very simply 'we do not allow visitors'...


Sorry I don't have any answers for you but I'm hoping others do.
 
Florida really doesnt have much going on. go down south and go fishin of p bass, but other than that we arent allowed any cool fish. Well to me cool fish
 
fishing in orlando wont get you any exotics, even down south after the cold exotics took a huge hit, i dont know of any lfs's near orlando, thats too far north for me, hope someone on here does, i know there was one kid on this site that goes to UCF(which is in orlando), he may know of some.
 
thanks guys ..... my wife puts up with alot of s*** from me but standing there watching me fish till something "cool" bites WILL NOT be one of those things!
 
I just tried Googling some places I new in Florida when I lived there a few years ago. They don't seam to be around any more. Sorry.
 
If you could extend your radius to about 1-1.5 hours you could check out a place in Daytona called Daytona Aquarium. He has been in the business for 30years. he has many, many American and African cichlids if that's what you're looking for. About 20 minutes away is a smaller shop called Amazon Jungle. She keeps more of a variety of fish (P Bass,Bichirs,Dats). But be warned, Amazon Jungle has nice variety but their tanks are notorious for being mislabeled. If you know what you're looking for it will be no problem. Daytona Aquarium is the better of the two by far. Beach and boardwalk is also awesome this time of year in Daytona!
