Hi All. Just added a flag Cichlid to my tank. My LFS only had 1 but I read they do better in groups. I have some acara and clown loaches in there too. Will that do for companionship or should I seek out another flag too?

They do do well in groups depending on tank size. If the tank is too small and a pair forms, they can be hard on each other.
It's also best to add them all at the same time. If you add another now, your current one may regard it as competition.
A lot will depend on tank size. The other fish you have in the tank should all be fine with flag cichlids.
If your tank is big enough I would add another 3 flag cichlids rather than 1.
1 is more likely to get picked on.
