Flagtail Availability?

Does anyone know what time of year is the best time to find a Flagtail ?

I imagine it's more a summer fish given I haven't had any luck locating any all winter. Looking for the best time to call my lfs who orders directly from a guy in South America.

I went to a fish store today and the owner proclaimed that its out of season at the moment and won't be back in season for another month.

He might have been just a random time line out there, but the store I usually buy them from got their last shipment in about 2 months ago.
