Is it true that flagtail eats other fish waste? I have 12 dats in my tank and I see couple fish waste from my dats after they eats, will flagtail eats those waste. I want to put 1 or 2 in my tank.

I don't believe it eats it, but rather sift through it to look for something edible. This sifting is advantageous because it breaks the large poo into small floating particles which a lot of time will end up getting sucked up into the filter. Which equates to less vacuuming, especially if you have sand substrate
