flagtail feeding and info

just got a new 4 inch flagtail my last one got ate, what should i be feeding him he dosent seem to want pellets, he loves the algae in the tank could i feed him algae sheets for feeding marine fish what you guys think and any need to nos to make these guys great fish

honestly I dont have a set diet for my guy. he eats potato, cucumber, what ever is left on the bottom; shrimp, smelt, etc. and algae in the tank.

I just let him fend for him self and he is big and fat now...

If you feel like he should eat more try algae wafers!

My flagtail goes nuts for the hikari alge wafers. Along with anything else that goes in the tank.

yes, they are very easy to please I just wish the dats were the same

They can be difficult to raise from young but 4" isnt a bad size. Id go with bloodworm, algae pellets, and frozen food.

oh I forgot to add that I have sand in my tank so he is always sucking on that
