Flagtail keeps jumping?

I just received a 12" flagtail. He is in fairly good shape but continues to jump. He is in a quarantine tank, where there is not much room to swim, can that be the reason? Any help or explanations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What are you treating him for? It could be ammonia burn, or several other things. Is it aerated?

hi, not treating for anything. Just got the fish two days ago. Tank is aerated.

Flagtail are natural jumpers...especially when they're not happy

Its probably the smaller tank. I moved one of mine to a smaller tank cuz he was fighting too much and he soon jumped out when I wasn't home. Stupid fish

so its most likely due to environment change then? That is good to know, hopefully it calms down. Thanks for all the help.
