For the most part, its an eating machine. Simple tips - Only get one, or more than 5 or 6 otherwise they kill each other. Be very careful they dont eat the slime of your fish, they can turn at any time resulting in a stressed out or dead fish!!!!

Agree 100% with previous post. Never had one that I owned go after a slime coat but have heard numerous nightmare
Will it be safe with an ornate bichir, datnoids, clown knife, fire eel, severum, leopard ctenopoma, fat sleeper/jade goby, clown loaches and maybe an arowana? I'm thinking about adding an arowana to my tank.
Yes one flagtail should be good with the tankmates listed above... just keep an eye out with the poly..

I got 8 flag tails in one of my tanks and never see any algae, they are very effective!. I keep mine together with chalceus (pink tail), pikes, rays and a bunch of L177. My friend got 26 flag tails (in a huge tank of course) it looks sick
