Flagtails

I have a 100 gallon tank and a school of 5 balas. I want a flagtail, I previously was keeping them with 3 tinfoil barbs but had to rehome them as the just hoover up all the food and the balas wheren't growing. Is the flagtail a bit more peaceful at feeding time or will it totally steal everything like the tinfoils. I am aware of how big the flagtails grow.

flagtails get bigger then youd think.. and are known i believe to attack out of the blue, especially other fei fengs. they will outgrow a 100 G tank eventually, start small.

Ive got a 8" Flagtail they will outgrow your 100 but its a good growout. They are very timid ive found and the balas will steal the food.

Here ya go! Best algae eater Ive ever had!

Just keep an eye on it, they are known slime coat eaters. Better kept alone from its own kind.

How fast do they grow? My tinfoil barb grew at an alarming rate, every week i noticed considerable growth. Are they slower than this?

My silver sharks tend to grow VERY slowly, i think this is common.

My flagtail grow 2'' a month. SO they do kind of grow fast. Yes Balas will tend to grow very slowly.

Can more then 1 be kept together or will they kill each other?
