flame angel nipping at sps

i started a thread earlier about my sps tips being porous looking and slow growth. it was suggested to me that my flame angel could be the problem, but i have only seen him nip once. i am beginning to suspect him more and more because as soon as a new tip begins to grow out it gets porous once its bigger.
does anyone have any experience with flame angels doing this? and does anyone have any pictures or descriptions of what at it looks like?

You should use caution with all Sp. of angels excpet the genus Genicanthus. Most have found that if they are well fed, they are less likely to roam around nipping corals. To be on the safe side, I would just remove the fish and see what happens.

any angel can and eventually will nip corals I figured it may be the flame but also had a feel that some corals where stinging it as well they way the coral looked.
