I used to have a male that looked just like that! All the babies from him were regular, so I thought that he was deformed or something. Guess not!

well I opened up a 20g breeder and have the large male flametail in with the mom so we will see what happens. I removed divider today and they seem to be civil now.

Well I found mt first freak fish He is missing his upper jaw I may grow him out for my personal collection but wont breed him. I have also included a pic of a confirmed short body from the pink batch and I think there will be more in the future.

I am finding more sb pink cons so this is a recessive gene however its not dominate and looks almost to be a 50/50 split.

Looks like the red tails have faded out on the pinks Still have my fingers crossed since I have a lot of small ones

ok will have around 10 available next weekend, no females since I have only found a couple. They will be 2"+ and have the red tail and i so also have a couple of males with no flame tail but since they carry the gene their offspring may have red tails. Hybrids are crazy that way.

What do you guys think is a pair price for these?
