I have a 2" sajica in a 55 gal. Initially, I noticed a problem with his eye being cloudy. Upon observing him further, I think the eye problem was caused by scraping against tank objects because he is flashing rather frequently. He's not at the very surface of the water, but he's hanging out pretty high in the tank, and not very active. I've also noticed that he twitches occasionally. Tankmates are a few other CA cichlids, all juveniles 2" or less, and 6 buenos aires tetras. Water parameters test normal using API kit. So far, all I've done is add some extra aeration.
I'm thinking it's some kind of parasite that's affecting his gills. My plan is to move him to a 10 gal for treatment. I have both Clout, and API General Cure, which contains Metro/Prazi. What does this sound like to you? Which med would be more suitable? Thanks.
