thanks...big cat's size 10'' now & small one just 7''...both cat eat like pig...Superlaz;4893176; said:Lovely. Some fish simply grow at a different rate than siblings, much like any other species.
They are both in very good condition, though the smaller one has its snout just a tad more worn than the larger. Id suggest a larger tank when you have a chance, before they really damage their snouts. Youll see pics of almost all Rousseauxxii kept in captivity with bent snouts from slamming into tank walls.
What size are they now? They are not fast growing cats.

thanks for ur comment...trent...amazonfishman;4897908; said:They need to be housed in a much larger tank like 8'x3'x3' or larger. Your theory on keeping them in a shorter tank to reduce their nose taking damage is a pretty poor idea. These fish require a lot more open space and in a 8' tank they might dart across the tank but they also have a lot more room to slow down before hitting the glass. You are probably stunting their growth at this point in that tank.
Also regarding their streamers, it could be one of the other fish in the tank biting/damaging their streamers or it could be poor water quality causing the streamers to fade.
