Flea market finds and random bargains thread.

So I've been wanting to get one of those leaf vacuum/mulchers for a while now as my trees produce quite a bit of leaves during the fall and I came across a Black and Decker unit at the flea market today.
I was a little leary about getting it as I usually am when it comes to electronics that I cannot turn on and test out but I decided that for fifteen bucks I'd give it a shot and if it didn't work my pockets wouldn't be too badly hurt lol.
So here is the beast and to my delight it worked perfectly after I plugged it in and turned it on.

Not too shabby for fifteen bucks....feel free to show and share any bargains that you've all scored recently.

My brother got a great Lenovo Thinkpad I7 laptop for +-$350 on classifieds. If I didn't keep fish it would have been mine

Great score krich! I have just started going to the car swap meet again myself. About 2 weeks ago I went to George Barris' estate garage sale. He's the guy who built a bunch of TV show cars. The original Batmobile, the Monkee mobile, of course the Munsters Coach, The Beverly Hillbillies car, etc.. Anyway George passed a few years ago, and the shop which is still open had a garage sale. I went on the last day, there wasn't much. For $1 I bought this invitation sent to them back in '68 for the annual international rod and custom car show. I use it as a book cover.

Thats okay borg....flea markets are a neat way to pass the time as there are quite a few in this area during the weekends....and not just flea market finds,post whatever bargains you've found.

I got a 55 gallon and a crap stand for $80. I don't trust it to hold water and don't trust myself to reseal it so.... lizard tank I guess.
