The other day I rescued a few fish that my buddy was going to flush because he was moving and couldn't take his tank.. So, under the impression I was taking 2 Bichirs.. I went home with a bucket full...

I saved the following:

2 Bichirs
1 weird pleco
5 different types of gouramis
1 calico angel fish
3 silver dollars

They were all healthy, and I knew my friends set up well, so QTing I didn't think was necessary... (stupid, I know)

The Gouramis, angel fish, and pleco went in one tank...

The silvers and bichirs went in another tank..

It was last minute, so the SD's, and the bichirs went in my 55 with my Jag, bichir, and RTSNx- All get along fine. I have observed no fighting. OR anyone being grumpy.

My friend did not have a heater on his tank. His water was in the 60's, and mine is kept at 76-78F. So, they all got floated for 45 mins and they were acclimated just like all my other fish.

The ONLY fish I am having issues with is the SD's. Everyone else is fine..

At first I noticed they had a white film over their eyes- I left it go for a day, and it didn't get any different- So I did a water change last night, and this morning they looked great. THEN I came home, and their entire eyes are coated over- they are bumping all over the tank, and their mouths look like they are being eaten away... One even looks like it's almost bleeding because the blood is so close to the surface of it's skin.

I salted the tank like suggested, and I don't think it's going to help.

What's going on?!
